Job Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Chairperson, the Office Administrative Assistant will support the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization. The role involves managing client records, coordinating communications, supporting service delivery, and ensuring efficient office operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining organizational effectiveness while supporting clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:
The Office Administrative Assistant is responsible to:
* Manage and maintain client files, records, and databases
* Support client intake processes and documentation
* Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules
* Respond to emails, phone calls, and inquiries professionally
* Welcome and assist clients and visitors
* Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory
* Assist with basic bookkeeping and administrative reporting
* Support program staff with administrative tasks
* Ensure confidentiality and proper data management

Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital tools
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Interest in community services or nonprofit work
* Fluency in Oromo language is required

Eligibility Requirements (Summer Position):
* Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
* Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
* Must be available to work for the full duration of the summer placement
